Love Triangle :(
Teens Magazine page 100teens. )
Hi teens, I have gotten to now this guy recently during a common friend's birthday party.
I found him a really nice person and we had a memorable and enjoyable night together.
We started smsing each other after that and chatting on phone till the next morning.
However, we have a huge problems here because although im single, he has a steady girlfriend
for three years. After meeting up again with him, he told me he loved his girlfriend, but, he loved
me as well and he could not decide right now and begged me for more time to let him make his
decision. I'm miserable and i can't concentrate on my school work or anything else.
Should i give him up? I know its not right for me to be a third party but, they also say
its all fair in love, what should i do now, please advise!
Complicated, 16I find this so true to me! A kind of alike isn't it? Let me tell you the replies .
Shortened , main points only .
} I can imagine how though it has been for you, having to struggle mixed feelings of possibly
breaking up a relationship just so that yours can be formed.
- Are you willing to bear the stigma and guilt of being a third party?
- How would you feel if you were the other girl ?
- Are you confident that this guy will love you and commit to you whole-heartedly, and not
put you in the same situation a few years later?
-Do you know him enough to trust him?
Allow the guy to be fair to both you and his girlfriend and give him time to make a clear choice.
Mean while, set clear boundaries and remember , until he has made up his mind, both of you
are just friends, you also have the option of letting go of this potential emotional entanglement.
Love is beautiful when its between two committed and faithful parties but, turns complicated
and sour with the presence of a third party. However, all's fair in love.
Everyone has the freedom of choice and the right to love, but, that doesn't mean principles should be disregarded .
